Product Overview
The Head Neck Unit (HNU) - Head Pad - Geometry Embracing Method (GEM) is used in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machines, Computed Tomography (CT) machines and many other Digital Imaging (DI) machines. It is one of the parts that comes with the collector assembly and filler pads of this medical equipment. It is mainly used for resting the head and neck portion of the patient over the table assembly. It has a urethane non-skid coating that is 0.1mm thick at the top of it and has holes at both the sides of the head portion. The product is made of a high quality material that has very good mechanical, thermal, chemical and electrical properties. It has a good machinability and is able to withstand a wide range of temperatures and pressures. The outer layer is a composite foil made of materials which contains ultra fresh antimicrobial treatment. The composite foil is laminated with a polyethylene film. The product is free from dust, burrs, sharp edges, surface blemishes, sink and flash marks. It is packed with a label containing all the relevant information about the product and a label with the shipment details. This plug is being used in machines such as GEM PA and many other similar machines.
