Product Overview
The Portable RAD Medium Gray Tether Kit assembly contains the lead cable and two microfit connectors. The lead cable is an electrical cable assembly which has one or more electrical conductors in it. This cable assembly is mainly used for the transmission of electrical power. The lead is connected to two microfit connectors at each end, which are connected with one another to form the assembly known as the “Tether Portable-RAD”. The entire assembly is manufactured using high precision techniques which helps to achieve a very good surface finish as well as good product consistency. The microfit connectors are specially designed to have a high contact density signal and deliver the power in a compact package in wire-to-wire and wire-to-board. It is mainly designed for blind mating applications. The lead cable contains 20 different wires which are all different colors. The 1 to 12 lead wire size will be 22 AWG and 13 to 20 lead wire’s size will be 24 AWG. These 20 lead wires are connected using microfit connectors at both end of the lead cable.
